Happy Thursday, Southwest Florida! Get ready for an abundance of heat and humidity over the next few days.
Highs will peak in the upper 80s and lower 90s this afternoon with plentiful sunshine and breezy conditions.
And here’s a graphic we haven’t used in a while! Heat indices will range from 90 – 95 Thursday and could go even higher by the weekend.
This is caused by an increase in humidity and warm southerly wind. Record heat is possible with this trend by Saturday.
