Man concerned about litter in parts of Cape Coral

Published: Updated:

Garbage in front of neighbors homes has been an issue for some neighbors for weeks in Cape Coral. Waste Pro has already responded and said it’s working toward a solution.

But a resident in the city is also upset about trash on some properties in public view he says never should have been there in the first place.

Watch the video above for the full story by WINK News Reporter Brea Hollingsworth, who spoke to a man concerned about litter seen in the city.

City of Cape Coral statement

Trash is everyone’s responsibility. The City’s small crew picks up trash in the Right-of-Way and on city-owned properties and large items that have been dumped illegally. This crew does not pick up miscellaneous litter on private property. Organizations such as the Northwest Neighborhood Association and Keep Lee County Beautiful have been instrumental partners in helping to pick up trash.
