You’ll soon have another chance at becoming a millionaire.
Powerball officials announced they’re adding a third weekly drawing starting Aug. 23 – a Monday. The lottery is currently held on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
They’re also introducing a new game called “Double Play,” which gives players more chances to win in a separate drawing that has a top cash prize of $10 million. It costs $1 to add this feature to a Powerball ticket.
Powerball is played in 45 states, as well as D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets are $2.
The “Double Play” game will be available in 13 states to start, including Florida.
No one won Saturday night’s drawing, causing the jackpot to swell to a staggering $241 million.
