
A Goodland man died early Sunday in a single-vehicle crash on Marco Island.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the 29-year-old was driving on Bald Eagle Drive (CR-953) east of West Elkcam Circle when he lost control of the truck, causing it to overturn. He was ejected from the truck.
Troopers said the man was taken to Physicians Regional Hospital and later pronounced dead.
The crash happened shortly before 1 a.m.
The Florida Highway Patrol no longer releases the names of those involved in crashes, citing Marsy’s Law.
