Carlos Emilio Vargas-Osorio, 54 victim of battery in Cape Coral Credit: Cape Coral Police Cape Coral Police are asking for your assistance with a battery situation that took place earlier this month. Just before 3 a.m. on August 6, officers with the Cape Coral Police Department found a man on the ground in a parking lot. This happened in the 800 block of Miramar Street in Cape Coral. The man was identified as Carlos Emilio Vargas-Osorio, 54. He was found with facial injuries and had sustained serious injuries to his head. Vargas-Osorio was unable to identify himself when he was found and was not able to provide police with details about who did this to him. The victim is still unresponsive and has yet to provide information about what happened to him.
