An arrest has been made in a shooting at the Sea Chest Motel arrest in Fort Myers.
The Fort Myers Police Department said they arrested a 17-year-old Elisha Jerome Williams on Thursday.
Williams was arrested by the Fort Myers Police GVI Units with the assistance of the US Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force, according to a press release.
The police said the shooting happened at 2:40 a.m. at the motel on First Street, just east of the Edison Bridge.
Williams is accused of firing multiple rounds at a victim but missing. When police arrived, they found multiple shell casings and property damage.
