The animal cruelty task force of Lee County Sheriff’s Office was investigating a home in Lehigh Acres Wednesday.

Investigators responded to a home in the 6100 block of Higgins Avenue, where they have been in the past. They were at the home two years ago saving dozens of pets from horrible conditions. At the time, deputies said there were 28 dogs and 13 cats inside.

Neighbors tell us there are as many as 30 cats inside. They see dozens of them walking through their yards.

We are working to find out more details, but we know a 64-year-old Luuly Quang was arrested Wednesday on animal cruelty charges.

She was also arrested at the home two years ago, where animals were seen in distress and covered in urine and feces.

Some cats could be seen under cars at the property Wednesday.

There is no further information at this time.
