A 38-year-old Lehigh Acres man suffered minor injuries after being ejected from a vehicle on Saturday morning.

The man was driving an SUV west on Lee Boulevard, east of Leonard Boulevard, when he lost control of the vehicle, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened just after 8 a.m. and closed the roadway to traffic.

It traveled off the roadway, collided with a wooden utility pole and overturned, ejecting the man.

He landed in a grass ditch, FHP said.

The Florida Highway Patrol no longer releases the identities of people involved in vehicle crashes, citing Marsy’s Law.
