William Myers (Credit: Cape Coral Police Department) Cape Coral police find unlicensed rifles while searching the home of a man facing charges of burglary. According to police, William Myer, 30, of Cape Coral broke into a home on October 15. Police issued a search warrant for his home where they found property stolen during the October burglary. During the search, police say they also found two short barrel rifles in Myer’s home. They say he did not have the proper licenses to be in possession of them. Police charged Myer with burglary of a dwelling causing damage over $1000, grand theft, dealing in stolen property, providing false information to a pawn broker, and two counts of possession of a short-barreled rifle.
