Lee Health reports 32 COVID-19 patients, no deaths Sunday

Here is a breakdown of Lee Health’s COVID-19 numbers for Monday.
  • As of Monday morning, there were 32 COVID-19 patients isolated in Lee Health hospitals (inpatient).
  • Of those patients, one of them is a child being treated at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida.
  • Since Friday, there were 19 new COVID-19 hospital admissions and 16 COVID-19 discharges.
  • 70% of ventilators and 19% of ICU rooms are available for use. There are two COVID-19 patients on ventilators and four in the intensive care unit.
  • On Monday morning, census was at 89% of staffed operational bed capacity.
  • Since the start of the pandemic, 1,211 patients have died inside of Lee Health hospitals to COVID-19, including none yesterday.
