Rain and thunderstorm chances will persist throughout the day

Our high temperatures will be below-average on Thursday and most of Southwest Florida will not see the 80s due to cloudy skies and rain showers.

Rain and thunderstorm chances will persist throughout the day. The highest likelihood of seeing these showers will come in the late afternoon.

Looking ahead, it will become less and less likely that you will encounter any rain as this week ends and our weekend arrives. Still, isolated chances will exist over the next few days.

Thursday will not be a great day for boating. Apart from the rain, choppy waters may make for a rough ride.

We are not forecasting any new Atlantic tropical depressions or tropical storms within the next five days.
