Our run of near-record heat continues

Published: Updated:

Highs will return to the mid-80s Tuesday afternoon under partly cloudy skies.

A few spots may match previous record high temperatures this week as high remain above average.

We will see areas of patchy fog to begin the day. These will likely leave us by 10 a.m.

A few isolated showers will be possible in the late afternoon and evening.

These low-end rain chances will persist into the weekend. Wednesday has a great chance of bringing showers to a good amount of Southwest Florida.

Our boating forecast is very similar to Monday’s. Gusty winds may make for choppy conditions on the water from time to time.
