Lee Health says it has 279 COVID-19 patients isolated in its hospitals on Thursday. The hospital says it is still in desperate need of blood donations.

Lee Health says donating blood is one of the best ways to give back to the community and save lives.

The hospital says the blood shortage has become more urgent due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They say donating blood takes about 30-45 minutes and each donation could save up to three lives.

All donations made at Lee Health stay within the Lee Health community. Donations can be made at any Lee Health blood center or bloodmobile. You can find information on eligibility and where to donate by clicking here.
