Patients are treated in order of severity of their illness and those with life-threatening conditions such as a heart attack or stroke are always treated immediately, Lee Health said. Here are Thursday’s COVID-19 hospitalizations. As of Thursday morning, there are 170 COVID-19 patients isolated in Lee Health hospitals. Of those patients, five of them are being treated at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida. On Thursday morning, the hospital census was at 95% of staffed operational bed capacity.
