Jhoana Jimenez Lopez (CREDIT: Lee County Sheriff’s Office) A driver who slammed into a car, sending it through a building and injuring a child inside is now facing charges. Jhoana Jimenez Lopez, 38, was arrested by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. They accused her of driving recklessly and without a license. The crash happened last month at Star Professional on Palm Beach Boulevard in Tice. The child suffered a skull fracture, a brain bleed and a broken leg. Records show Jimenez Lopez has been convicted of driving without a license three times, twice in 2018 and once in 2021. The building she crashed into has now been deemed an unsafe structure. Lopez now faces a driving without a license charge and causing a serious injury. She is out on bond.
