Credit: WINK News Many people living in Cape Coral will have to get ready faster than usual on Monday morning because their water will be shut off while crews work on a road project. Roadwork is being done on Nicholas Parkway West, a 1.6-mile-long project from Pine Island Road to Santa Barbara Boulevard. Crews will be installing storm drainage along the project route and say a water shutdown is necessary to deflect draining while they work, meaning some Cape Coral residents along the project area are going to temporarily have their water shut off. The water shutoff is set to last from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
