2 Fort Myers Bank of America robbery suspects arrested

Two suspects have been arrested as of Friday afternoon in connection with the robbery of a Fort Myers Bank of America on Monday.

The Fort Myers Police Department arrested Leroy Johnson, 62, of Lehigh Acres, and Alfreda Dean, 58, of Fort Myers, in connection with the robbery on Matthew Drive. Johnson was taken into custody without incident just before noon on Friday. Dean was arrested on Tuesday in the vehicle police say was used in the robbery and faces a robbery charge for the same incident. She is currently being housed at the Lee County Jail.
