Warm weather, scattered storms for Southwest Florida

High temperatures will return to the upper 80s and lower 90s, with rain chances beginning after lunchtime on Friday.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to form Friday afternoon before moving towards the coastline in the evening.

Our humidity has also continued to rise Friday. This is fueling our rain chances and making our “feels like” temperatures soar into the 90s almost everywhere.

Easter Sunday will feature partly cloudy skies and above-average temperatures before isolated rain chances move into the area in the late afternoon and evening.

Our boating forecast is looking fantastic if you can dodge the showers and storms that will form later on Friday.
