The Cape Coral Parks and Recreation Advisory Board wants the public to provide feedback on a name for a new neighborhood park.

A  groundbreaking was held in October for the new park at 2718 SW 43rd Terrace.

The city wants to know which of the top three names is your favorite.

The options include:

  • Sands Park
  • Southern Sands Park
  • Sands End

Comments and recommendations can be submitted in writing to the Department Director and be post-marked within the 30-day public notice period which began May 4, according to the city’s Facebook page.

Comments can be mailed to:

City of Cape Coral, City Hall, 1015 Cultural Park Boulevard, Cape Coral, FL 33990 Attn: Interim Director, Connie Barron
