A woman is in custody after a major drug bust on Grand Ave in Fort Myers on Wednesday.

Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno said Shenna Nicole Gentry was leaving her apartment complex when they arrived and detectives got her just in time. “When this Bearcat pulls up, it’s not just pull up, get out, and then we do what we got to do,” Marceno said. “This is planning and executing.”

Marceno said that the complex had 45 calls for service since 2020. It took months of planning to get to this point.

“Making certain we do days of surveillance to know who’s in that house,” Marceno said. “Are their weapons? Previous history? Well, I’ll tell you this, the page is a five and a half inches thick with previous history.”

There were three people in the home at the time of the arrest. The two others were only questioned. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office has still not released what kind of drugs and how much was found in the apartment.
