Two men were arrested Wednesday after Collier County deputies say they were seen making a drug transaction in broad daylight in Immokalee and the suspected dealer’s pocket was found filled with different drugs.

Detectives with the vice and narcotics bureau of the Collier County Sheriff’s Office say Gerren Roshaud James, a 39-year-old convicted felon, was seen selling drugs to a man on a bike, later identified as Otilio Garcia-Flores, 41, around 11 a.m. outside “a known drug house” in the 300 block of South 2nd Street. James and Garcia-Flores into custody.

CCSO says James’ left pants pocket was filled with 3.5 grams of fentanyl, 26.8 grams of crack cocaine, 0.10 of a gram of crystal meth, 2 grams of powder cocaine and 7 grams of marijuana when he was arrested. James also had $888 cash on him, and detectives found an unknown powder weighing around 11.7 grams that field-tested positive for fentanyl. They also say Garcia-Flores was found with crack cocaine on him.

James faces charges of sale of cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of fentanyl, possession of marijuana under 20 grams and possession of amphetamines. Garcia-Flores faces a charge of cocaine possession, a felony.
