Weekend rain chances after a mostly dry Friday

High temperatures return to the upper 80s and lower 90s under mostly sunny skies. Expect slightly stronger winds than what we have seen in previous days.

A spot shower or storm will be possible for our inland in the late afternoon and evening. Better rain chances will come this weekend.

Due to the scattered coverage of Saturday’s storms, a Marginal (1/5) Severe Weather Outlook is in effect for most of Southwest Florida on Saturday. The primary threats with the strongest of Saturday’s storms will be damaging winds and hail.

In the meantime, our boating forecast is looking fantastic.
