MW Horticulture owes more than $150K for April fires, reinspection under review

The findings of an inspection for MW Horticulture remain under review following a site visit on Thursday, according to the San Carlos Park Fire District.

That means a stop-work order remains in effect.

Meanwhile, the first district has provided the recycling facility with an invoice of $152,514 for the work that was done there for 10 days in April when a fire continued to burn.

The invoice includes the cost of staff and apparatus used during the period. As of noon on Friday, no amount had been paid, the fire district said.
