Photo via CBS News. Two drivers were killed in a crash on I-75 between Colonial Boulevard and Daniels Parkway on Saturday night. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a pickup truck driven by a 20-year-old man from Palm Beach Gardens was traveling south on I-75 around 10 p.m. when it crossed the grass median, collided with a barrier and crossed into northbound traffic, hitting the front of an oncoming car driven by a 40-year-old woman from Punta Gorda. Troopers say the pickup truck flipped and landed on its side in the outside lane of northbound I-75. The car came to rest in the grass on the side of the road. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was transported to Gulf Coast Hospital in critical condition and pronounced dead on Thursday. The crash is still under investigation.
