Road ranger vehicle rear-ended on I-75 near Alico Road in Lee County

A road ranger vehicle was rear-ended on I-75 near Alico Road on Tuesday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash lead to the closure of southbound I-75 in as troopers investigated the crash.

Troopers said a SUV, driven by a 65-year-old North Fort Myers man, rear-ended the road ranger after switching lanes.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a vehicle rear-ended a road ranger vehicle while the ranger was at the scene of a different traffic incident.

Both drivers suffered minor injuries.

All lanes of I-75 have since reopened.
