The precautionary boil water notice for all Englewood Water District and Bocilla Utilities customers was rescinded on Monday.

Englewood says repairs to its system are complete and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.

People with questions can contact Kyle Herzog, the Englewood Water District’s water distribution manager, at (941) 460-1047.

As of Sunday, Englewood Water District crews have completed emergency work to restore wastewater systems. All locations in the district should have sewer service operating normally. There is still the possibility of problems occurring at individual locations, though.

People may resume normal use, but it’s recommended they do so slowly and monitor for any sewer issues. Before calling a plumber, customers should call (941) 474-3217 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. if they experience water or sewer issues.
