Credit: WINK News. Florida SouthWestern State College says its IT department will be providing assistance to students who were affected by Hurricane Ian. The IT department will be providing loaner laptops and webcams. The college says students will need their Buc Card or driver’s license to check out the equipment. Laptops and webcams are first-come first-served in Building AA and will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The school is also providing a local wireless access point has been established in Parking Lot 1 by Building AA for those who do not yet have internet access at home. Students can only access Parking Lot 1 through the College Parkway entrance. FSW says in-person IT Help Desk services will also be available beginning Wednesday in Building AA.
