Seven people have been arrested by Lee County deputies after they say they were found looting.
Five suspects from the Orlando area were arrested:
- Eli Francisco Acevedo Marin, 48
- Eli Yadiel Acevedo Ayala, 19
- Luis Enrique Cedeno Morales, 57
- Axel Martinez Quiles, 18
- Benigno Ortiz Diaz, 40
According to the sheriff’s office, they were seen looting off of Estero Boulevard near the Wyndham Garden Hotel.
Deputies said they located their white work van and found various items from recent thefts as well as the fire extinguishers that were stolen.
The five people accused were arrested and charged with two counts of burglary during a state of emergency and two counts of grand theft of a fire extinguisher.

Two other suspects, Al King Chapman, 33, and Rodney Rogers, 59, were arrested and accused of stealing construction material from the Hampton Inn parking lot at 11281 Summerlin Square Drive.
Both were arrested and charged with grand theft.
