Cool, dry Thursday under partly cloudy skies

High temperatures will only reach the mid-70s, under partly cloudy skies. These highs will be over 10 degrees below average in many locations. Boaters will experience a moderate chop within our bays and 2- to 4-foot wave heights in the Gulf. Our unexceptional water conditions are mainly due to breezy winds.

These winds will also usher in dry and cool air from the north throughout the day. This will keep the rain out of Thursday’s forecast and give us mostly sunny skies by the weekend.

The tropics remain inactive. No named storms or disturbances are currently active in the Atlantic. No additional named storms are expected to form within the next five days.
