Friday’s highs enter the high 70s, low 80s under partly cloudy skies

High temperatures will reach the upper 70s and lower 80s under partly cloudy skies. Sustained winds from the north of up to 15 mph will be possible. Boaters will encounter moderate chop within our bays and 2- to 3-foot wave heights in the Gulf of Mexico.

These partly cloudy conditions will stay with us throughout Friday’s forecast. Dry air in the atmosphere will keep our rain chances low. Expect mostly sunny skies throughout the weekend, with no rain in the forecast until the end of next week.

The tropics are remaining quiet. There are no active named storms or disturbances anywhere in the Atlantic. No additional development is expected within the next five days.
