Deputies stopped Ian Marco Flores-Antelo, 23, for multiple traffic infractions in the Immokalee Road and Strand Boulevard area around 9:45 p.m. According to the sheriff’s office, the deputies smelled marijuana inside the car and said none of the four people in the car had a medical marijuana card. Deputies then searched the car and found two loaded firearms within reach of the driver, Flores-Antelo. The sheriff’s office says Flores Antelo is a documented gang member in Collier County. According to deputies, the front passenger of the car, Christopher Dorestan, 18, also had a gun near where he was sitting. They say no one in the car had a permit to carry a gun. A further search of the car found: A short-barrel AR-15 rifle Three loaded handguns 16 magazines to include high-capacity mags and a drum and hollow point bullets Hundreds of rounds of ammunition Two ballistic armor vests Multiple ski masks A black and gold skull full-face mask A large number of vape pens and THC oil Marijuana (Credit: Collier County Sheriff’s Office) Deputies arrested Flores-Antelo and Dorestan. They are facing charges of carrying a concealed firearm. Flores-Antelo is also facing charges of possession of synthetic narcotics, possession of a bulletproof vest while committing certain offenses, and possession of marijuana under 20 grams. Dorestan faces an additional charge for resisting arrest. The sheriff’s office did not say if the other two passengers in the car were arrested.
