Starting Monday, the City of Cape Coral will accept online permit applications for storm-related and non-storm-related damages.

The city already had a permit backlog. The permitting counter at Cape Coral City Hall will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Before the storm, the counter was closed on Fridays to deal with the backlog.

For many people, the city’s emergency paper permitting process has been faster. In the latest numbers given to WINK News, 3,600 permits have been issued, with 94% of emergency permit applications filed at Cape Coral City Hall.

Cape Coral’s permitting counter at city hall will also be open on Saturday, Nov. 19, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
