Driver hospitalized after rear-ending deputy's vehicle in East Naples

A driver was hospitalized after rear-ending a Collier County deputy’s vehicle in East Naples on Sunday night.

According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy had pulled someone over near US-41 and Guilford Road just before 9 p.m. when another car crashed into the deputy’s vehicle. The driver of that car was transported to an area hospital.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
