High temperatures will only reach the 70s under mostly cloudy skies. A cold front is pushing through Southwest Florida during the morning hours. This will usher in cooler and drier weather for the late afternoon and evening forecast. Boaters will experience moderate chop in our bays and 2- to 5-foot wave heights. Scattered showers and a few weak storms are expected, primarily before lunchtime. Severe weather is unlikely. Rain chances should leave us by the late afternoon. High temperatures will return to the 80s on Tuesday and Wednesday before a second cold front cools us down by the end of the week.
