Crews fighting the brush fire in Lehigh Acres. CREDIT: Lehigh Acres Fire Control A brush fire broke out in Lee County Sunday afternoon. According to Lehigh Acre Fire Control and Rescue District, the brush fire is about a quarter of an acre in size along Aprile Avenue South and Bari Street East. A passerby saw smoke at the scene and called 911. After the call, Stations 101, 102, and 105 responded. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
