3 suspects arrested in drug bust at Burnt Store Village home

Three suspects were arrested Tuesday after a search where narcotics detectives found drugs and contraband inside a Burnt Store Village home.

According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, Samantha Fout, 37, Tiffany Beasley, 36, and Shawn Spencer, 52, were arrested after narcotics detectives, a SWAT team and an aviation unit searched a home on Mintra Court within the Burnt Store Village community.

Once deputies secured the home and began the search, they found numerous illegal drugs both within the main home and in a makeshift bedroom inside the detached garage. Detectives found Beasley and Fout inside the main home. Inside the bedroom where they both slept, CCSO found:

  • Fentanyl
  • Methamphetamine
  • Heroin
  • Oxycontin
  • Alprazolam
  • Buprenorphine
  • Morphine
  • MDMA
  • Liquid methadone
  • Marijuana
  • Pipes

Spencer and his girlfriend were in the detached garage, where detectives located a smoking pipe along with a straw and measuring cup both covered in fentanyl residue.

Fout faces charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription (nine counts), manufacturing drug paraphernalia and violation of probation.

Beasley faces charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription (10 counts) and manufacturing drug paraphernalia.

Spencer faces a charge of possession or use of drug paraphernalia.
