High temperatures will reach the upper 80s and low 90s under partly cloudy skies. Winds will primarily remain out of the southeast and southwest at around 5 to 15 mph. Areas of patchy fog will likely disappear by 9 a.m. In the meantime, dense fog advisories are in effect for Collier, Hendry, and Glades counties until 8 am. If you must commute within these advisories, please take it slowly on the roadways. A few showers will form inland after lunchtime. These will be relatively weak but should bring much-needed rain to several communities. A second batch of showers (with slightly more coverage) is expected on Wednesday.
