Credit WINK News. Florida Highway Patrol says a bicyclist is dead after a crash on McGregor Boulevard on Wednesday morning. Troopers say an SUV was traveling east on McGregor Blvd just after 7:30 a.m., approaching the plaza at 15657 McGregor Blvd when the driver turned into the plaza and collided with a 62-year-old Fort Myers man on an e-bike who was crossing the plaza entrance. FHP says the bicyclist had critical injuries and was taken to the hospital, where he died. The crash remains under investigation.
