Monday starts workweek with low-90s highs

Published: Updated:

Monday kicks off the workweek with high temperatures in the 90s, and they will remain in the 90s all week long.

Expect our inland zones to be the hottest spots again, with some areas’ high temperatures reaching 91 degrees.

West of the I-75 corridor along the coast there is little to no relief from the heat as all rain chances will be inland near Lake Okeechobee.

Rain chances will continue all throughout the week—and we desperately need the rain during this drought in the middle of our dry season.

On the bright side, overall red tide levels have continued to remain low south of the Caloosahatchee River.
