A Port Charlotte man was arrested early Tuesday morning after deputies say he was found in possession of child pornography.
According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, 21-year-old Kayvon A. McGuinness was arrested after law enforcement searched his Easy Street home.
CCSO began investigating McGuinness after receiving an online tip via the Internet Crimes Against Children. Detectives established probable cause for McGuinness’ arrest.
McGuinness was located at his home, cooperated and was taken into custody without incident. He faces 15 counts of possession of child pornography. The investigation remains active, with additional charges pending.
