More isolated storms for inland areas Friday afternoon, evening

Published: Updated:

While there is a chance for coastal areas to see some spotty showers through the afternoon, most of Friday’s rain and storms will develop east of I-75 in the early afternoon and track eastward through the evening.

High temperatures will be above average as they climb into the upper 80s and lower 90s in the afternoon. Due to humid conditions, “feels like” temperatures will be in the lower-to-upper 90s for all of Southwest Florida.

Boaters can expect 1- to 3-foot wave heights and light chop in the bays.
