For those of you who travel along SE 47th Terrace, you may want to avoid the area Wednesday, May 17. The road will close from the east end of the intersection at SE 6th Avenue approximately 150 linear feet to the east. The City said the reason for the closure is to “install a fire hydrant lead and casings for irrigation and water services.” You are urged to use caution while traveling through the area. The closure is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
