Deputies and K-9s pack into rest stop off Daniels Pkwy

Law enforcement and K-9s were seen surrounding a rest stop off Daniels Parkway in Lee County.

Pictures indicated at least six Lee County Sheriff’s Office vehicles were at the scene, just after noon Friday.

Deputies had blocked off the rest stop, but as of 1:27 p.m., LCSO had cleared the scene.

Few details are known at this time, but WINK News is talking to deputies to find out the latest information.
