The Weather Authority is forecasting possible isolated rain showers on Thursday afternoon.

Temperatures will be warmer in the afternoon and in the lower to mid-80s.

Here’s what to expect for the next two days:

Friday: Scattered rain will be possible during the morning commute, with widespread rain and storms likely.

Parts of Southwest Florida are at a Level 1 risk for severe weather, which means a few of the storms we see can become strong to severe.

The most significant impact will be the rain, as we can see 2 to 4″ from Friday through Saturday, with some communities seeing more than 4″ of rain.

We will also see rather windy conditions with sustained winds from the southeast at 15 to 25 mph.

Temperatures will mainly stay in the 70s thanks to the clouds and rain.

Saturday: Scattered rain and storms will again move through Southwest Florida in the morning.

Rain will move out in the early afternoon, and we’ll see drier weather by the evening.

Southwest Florida will also see breezy winds from the west at 10 to 20 mph.

Highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s.
