The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting in North Fort Myers that also left another injured. According to LCSO, they responded to the 8000 block of Heck Drive, just west of the Suncoast Community Center, due to reports of a double shooting Saturday afternoon. Authorities confirmed one of the victims succumbed to his injuries, and another victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. LCSO interviewed witnesses and will investigate any leads. Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno encourages anyone who has any information to reach out to LCSO or Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-8477.
