At least 2 injured in Cape Coral crash

At least two people were injured during a head-on crash on Burnt Store Road and Caloosa Parkway in Cape Coral.

Two cars were involved, and two people were airlifted to Gulf Coast Hospital around 5:45 p.m. after the crash on Thursday evening. They have non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities said that roads are not closed due to the crash.

The Cape Coral Police Department is investigating and was on the scene.

A silver car completely rolled over onto its roof. A pickup truck was also involved. Both cars were towed.

The details of this crash are currently unknown.

The roadways have since cleared with normal traffic resuming.
