Black Friday has begun, and an estimated 74% of people are expected to turn out for holiday deals; however, inflation may dampen plans this season.

Fortunately, several websites and smartphone applications are designed to scope out the best deals while doing less harm to your wallet for this holiday season.

PayPal Honey and Capital One Shopping are free browser extensions that offer money-saving amenities like automatic coupons applied to items in an online cart, price drop alerts, and comparison pricing for products on Amazon.

On average, PayPal Honey will save its users around $126 per year.

Shop Savvy allows shoppers to scan bar codes to compare and track prices to find the best deal.

Coupon Cabin and Retail Me Not have made physical coupon clipping a thing of the past, as both apps generate promotional codes and savings directly to one’s smartphone.

With Ibotta, shoppers can earn cash back at thousands of stores, with the average user saving $10 to $20 per month.

To earn more rewards while holiday shopping, Shopkick earns its users “kicks,” which are loyalty points, by scanning barcodes at stores at more than 80 partner retail stores.
