LCSO Deputies save man from burning home

A dramatic rescue unfolded in North Fort Myers as deputies from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office saved a disabled man from a burning home.

Early Sunday morning, a Lee County deputy and deputy trainee pulled the man from his home.

Body camera footage captured the moment the deputies pulled the injured man through a bedroom window.

After successfully rescuing him, they dragged him away from the flames as smoke filled the sky.

The man was transported to the hospital and is currently recovering.
