A deadly Lee County fire turned into a death investigation Monday morning at a mobile home community called Orange Harbor.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the fire broke out along Temple Drive Monday morning.

LCSO and Lee County EMS responded to the scene, and the Fire Marshal is investigating. Earlier Monday morning, Florida Power and Light also responded to the scene.

The co-op president told WINK News he was thankful to all the first responders.

He said they did a great job at preventing something worse from happening.

We’re working to get more information, such as the cause of the fire, the identification of the victim or victims, and whether anyone else was hurt.
