The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who they said robbed a pawn shop.

The robbery occurred on Jan. 11 shortly after 10 a.m. at Capital Pawn, 330 New Market Road W., Immokalee.

Detectives said the robber showed a firearm and demanded the clerks give him cash.

He received an undisclosed amount of money and ran out of the store toward northeast Calle Amistad.

Detectives said the robber wore a black surgical-type mask over his face and a Mexican flag bandana around his neck. He also had on a gray hoodie with a black T-shirt and tan jacket underneath, black pants and black sneakers. He carried a denim jacket, which he used to conceal the firearm.

Witnesses told detectives the robber had a blue tattoo on his neck, possibly of a snake.

This investigation remains active.
